Shattered Fates contains 200 new cards, including 10 new heroes. However, just like with Dark Prophecies, two Legendary rarity cards numbered outside the regular set (Numbers 201 and 202) are present in the set, and this time these Legendary cards are heroes, bringing the number of new heroes present in the set to 12. The set has a focus on Tribal allies, expanding on the tribes introduced in Call of the Crystals and Dark Prophecies. Also introduced are Artifact cards with durability, as well as item and armor abilities activated by paying durability, as well as the Sustain mechanic. Also, for the first time, all cards in the set are possible to be found as foils, regardless of card rarity. The cover card is [[Abomination Factory]].
