Kitt Lapeña is an artist who has done artwork for many Shadow Era cards. Most notably he illustrated the majority of the original Call of the Crystals set (including all weapons and armors in that set), as well as all 20 alternate art versions of the Call of the Crystals heroes featured in Dark Prophecies. He has stated that his favorite card is Special Delivery, due to the humorous nature of that card's artwork.
