There are three types of resources in Shadow Era that rule the game:
Casting Cost Resources (CC) They are built by sacrificing cards and by some abilities allies and items possess. They are the first prerequisite to play cards from hand and to activate abilities some allies, items and locations possess.
Shadow Energy Resources (SE) They are automatically built each turn (with one exception). They are the first prerequisite to activate all heroes' abilities, and some allies and items and locations possess.
Turn Number (T"X") Where X is the turn number. It is the condition for Locations to be summoned.
