Aldon set ablaze
  • A hero or ally that is set ablaze takes 1 fire damage at the start of each of its controller's turns.
  • An ablaze hero or ally can still defend, attack or use abilities (unless some other effect is preventing that).
  • Heroes or allies that are set ablaze are shown with an orange colored fiery overlay.

Some statistics:

  • The Shadow faction seems to handle ablaze better, with 8 cards that remove it, while the Human faction has only 6. However, both factions can use 5 Neutral cards to neutralize it.
  • Mages and Hunters are the two classes that prefer to set ablaze more than any others.
  • Damage reduction from combat does not prevent the fire damage from ablaze, as it is considered ability damage.

Cleric's Mantle, Jericho Spellbane, Wulven Resilience, Healing Touch, Rejuvenating Ritual, Regeneration, are some of the cards in the Shadow Era game that remove the negative effect ablaze.
