(Continuous) Siege on A1 - Extremely difficult!

Barcafan vs GS

3 matches which shows the importance of card advantage. IGG and Wulven tracker were key in the 3 matches.

Epic first match, with Serena holding her own with Anklebreakers and Anklebreakers. Even when Zaldar healed to full health with Soul reaper, he eventually run out of cards.

In the next 2 matches. Barcafan managed to get a Wulven Tracker alive for 1 turn. With GS unable to draw a Anklebreaker until late in the game or none at all, he couldn't give up with the allies Barcafan was summoning every turn.

Barcanfan95 Siege on A1

True to his words, Barcafan brought the 2nd and 3rd most powerful heroes squads ever assembled in SE history, Zaladar Rolling Pin and Serena Superdraw to lay siege on A1.

In stark contrast to Cwhittastic subtlety, Barcanfan charge the Rolling Pin directly towards the walls of A1 city.

From the city wall, a voice whispered "...Wait for it...."

A single red dot lined up at Zaladar head and his head burst into flame. The defender GS took out Zaladar charge with a single head shot.

To GS complete surprise, instead of dying, Zaladar Rolling Pin burn all the fats and healed completely. A leaner but no less dangerous Zaladar started attacking the city gates. Since GS never missed, he only brought 1 bullet for the kill.

GS's trusty female captain, Serena Thoughtripper jumped from the city walls to engage Zaladar. Zaladar sent waves of suiciding Dark flayers and Deathbone charging at Serena. Serena was able to fend them off with her formidable Anklebreaker, stopping them dead in their tracks. But the kamikaze Flayers and Deathbone continue to wear Serena down and the Anklebreaker durability.

Fear not, Serena wealth has been increased from ill-gotten gains and she has sent out Lily to pack extra Anklebreakers as reserves. Whenever her Anklebreaker breaks, Lily fetch Serena a new one. The waves of Shadow allies, even the fiery Molten Destroyer were not able to penetrate the Anklebreaker defense.

At the right moment, Aeon charged into the fray. With Aeon imposing physical presence protecting the human army, Aldon and Lily and Nightshade were able to attack with impunity. Zaladar tried to summon more allies, but Thoughtripper lived up to her name, kept wasting his thoughts away. Zaladar was beaten back and have to retreat tactically.

Learning from the first defeat, Zaldar wisen up and sent the Wulven Tracker right at the heels of Serena. The wolf hackle her constantly, and gives more manuvering space for Zaladar to move his army of Molten Destroyer.

Serena couldn't get to her Anklebreaker for a long time, conceding crucial tactical space. Even when Tainted Oracle died to pass her the Anklebreaker, it was too late. Zaldar has already burst through the city gate. Knowing that the battle was lost, but confident in the ability of other A1 defenders, GS called for a tactical retreat with Serena.

@barcafan, I cracked my brain trying to explain why you didn't bring the Rolling Pin. you better bring the REAL Serena Superdraw for the next game.... If not I have to just say that you lied.... :P

The problem was My rolling Pin rolled right passed the battlefield and so I had to just use some Ghosts.

Hm.. Secret passage to a castle? U wouldnt say that to a person who has some (far) roots to the midieval castle of Constantinopole which fell due to the traitory of a secret door but i forgive u for not knowing.

On the other hand this deriving line doesnt make me feel easy for the possible outcome of my duel against Cwhitt but here goes nothing. We are probably playing tommorow Wednesday so i expect a good description from Atom
