(Continuous) Siege on A1 - Extremely difficult!

@pete, No it is not evident to me what you are trying to say. I explained clearly the reason for the signature, and that in reality ppl won't be affected by it. Much like the RNB rules which 90% of the time doesn't impact the game, we have to create rules to safe guard our Siege and to prevent abuse.

Currently we have 4 (or 5) ppl lining up for the challenge, eager to have a shot all in the name of fun. They know that the signature change is not going to affect them, because they are not going to pull out.

There is a grand total of 2 person who raised their concerns, bluejet and you.

I would mostly put it like this:

Guild leaders came in our Tournament to cry (i must leave GDC apart from this as he had a decent point and peace in asking. Nevertheless a PM would be better and more friendly, dont u think mate?)

The rest please remind me again who invited u here to come, insult and troll?

I wouldnt expect more from pete and kent but to try and put misery and hate against their old guild. Each person's route already proves who everyone is imo... People see and judge..

Blue i would expect something more from you. U dedicate much to the game and offer, but hate troll posts like this only show your deeper feelings for A1 and the way you understand competition. Lack of sportsmanship and bad manners is something that insults not only you but your guild as well and is unfair for most of the TJs who are decent guys and i think that would never come and troll. Please restrain while there is still some dignity left to save

Let us all co-exist in peace, dignity and sportsmanship! Anyone who doesnt like A1, A1 members, A1 tourneys is kindly asked to just not spend his time posting in our pages and enjoy SE in all other pages!

Already some well known great players like the ones mentioned have expressed the intension to join our siege!! Anyone feeling brave enough is welcome to express his intensions. Not everyone will be accepted but a try never hurt

I urge anybody who has any objections or difficulties with any of the rules to please send me a private message and I would be happy to explain further or clarify anything that you would like to ask. If you take the time to pm me, I am always happy to pm back.

I will say this only once and then start reporting any posts that try to derail our thread (again, pm me if you have any problems) - the signature thing is meant to be a bit of fun only. Even I'm getting involved and changing my signature if anyone beats us. Anyone who has an issue with it need not apply to play, or need not opt out early. There are plenty of game shows with similar terms of conditions (are you smarter than a 5th grader for example) and nobody goes on those game shows to complain about the unfairness of having to say that phrase. The same is true here. If you don't like it, don't apply. Lighten up people, honestly.

As for some other disturbing comments I have seen recently, I'll be making one public statement here only because other's have chosen to bring it to the public arena instead of via pm's, which is how I have tried to settle differences in the past. I have asked that none of my guys respond to these disturbing comments in an effort to keep this thread as much on topic as possible.

@Pete; you shouldn't throw stones if you live in a glass house. Please send me a message or find me in IRC if you have such a huge problem with this and kindly not have an argument on our thread.

Wow. Have I just lost every single iota of respect I ever had for you. When I became leader I really thought you wanted to work together to reconcile any lost relationships that had occurred when Raph was in charge. I now see that as false on my behalf and that makes me sad. Your sarcastic attacks on A1 in the last month and your little tantrum here have shown me the error of trying to work with someone who has so many insecurities.

When I came for your blessing over a month ago to tell you we would be starting up our own challenge and to brainstorm with you ways in which we could do it without detracting from your own Gauntlet, it was with best intentions possible so that we wouldn't arrive in the situation in which we are in now. I wanted to provide something different, new and fun so that both challenges could co-exist. You have had plenty of time to speak with me since that conversation about your clearly obvious worries, yet you have chosen to wait until I started our challenge to publicly blast us. Your actions are sadly and grossly inappropriate and inadequate for the leader of such a great guild.

Please stop attacking A1 and acting like a petulant insecure child . You have no need to do so, Team Juggernauts is a fantastic guild with some amazing players and great guys, many of whom I would count as friend. There is nothing there to make you so insecure as to lash out at us all the time.

I do wish to appologise to you, once again, for my invitation to partake in this. It was never my intention to make it seem like I was calling you out, if that is indeed how you interpreted it. I was only doing so as I wanted to see someone I thought was a great player and had respect for be our first challenger, and for the nostalgia of seeing the leader of one of our biggest rival guilds make it far in our challenge. If I offended you in any way by my actions, I am sincerely sorry.

I will continue to have the utmost respect for what your guild has accomplished and towards its other members, and will continue to try to strengthen bonds between our two guilds where possible. I will also continue to encourage my guys to do so. I most certainly do not want to go back to the way it was between our two guilds before I became leader. I hope that you will do the same from your end, although due to your actions of late I won't be holding my breath.

I am also asking that you please rescind your offer to give prizes to people that opt out. This is our challenge and not yours. We can run it how we want and we can offer prizes as we want.
