Awakened is a new keyword first appearing in Lost Lands.

Awakened is not a passive abilities.
Cards with Awakened start out as artifacts, but have effects by which they are able to "awaken" into an Aldmor ally with 3 attack, 3 health and no abilities, although some may be able to gain additional abilities when they are awakened.

• Phase structure of the awaken mechanism:
  1. Artifact's ability is triggered or is activated.
  2. Artifact leaves the play.
  3. Artifact returned to play as an exhausted Aldmor ally with 3 attack, 3 health and no abilities.
