Awakened is a new keyword first appearing in Lost Lands.

Awakens is not a passive abilities.
Cards with Awakens start out as artifacts, but have effects by which they are able to "awaken" into an Aldmor ally with 3 attack, 3 health and no abilities, although some may be able to gain additional abilities when they are awakened.
- Phase structure of the awaken mechanism:
- Artifact's ability is triggered or is activated.
- Artifact leaves the play.
- Artifact returned to play as an exhausted Aldmor ally with 3 attack, 3 health and no abilities.
