Crystals for Gold

I've accumulated some shadow crystals but was curious if it's still best to buy the Elemental premade pack and sell all the cards for gold, or it makes more sense to buy booster packs (mostly new cards)? There was a good forum post explaining all this but I can't find it now. Any help appreciated, thanks.

The problem about buying boosters is that there is a big chance you will not get the right cards for your decks, and selling the cards you will most likely get less gold then selling a Elemental deck. But if you get the right cards for your deck (lets say a good expensive rare like Kings Pride, and some good other cards that you need), then a booster can be more worth it. If you are feeling very lucky, go for the booster else just stay safe and buy lots of elemental decks.

Thanks, I already have quite a few cards, not much of the newer ones but it sounds like my best 'bet', is to go with the Elemental Start Decks and sell them for gold and buy what I want.

That was the link to it. It hasn't been updated since 1.3? Since I'm back I'll get around to buying all the starter decks again and updating card and price data for 1.5 version of the game.

My approach when starting from scratch is to get 4x of each class. If there is shadow and human I split it 2/2. For example, 4 rogue starters and 2 human Mage and 2 shadow Mage. There are quite a few 1x cards in each starter, the extra gold you get from an elemental doesn't cover the savings you get from not having to buy them.

After that, I just go elemental decks. Boosters aren't worth it, and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't have the more recent cards.
