Stability Update 4.98 September 2nd!
OVERVIEW
Well, we wanted to do this update at the end of September and include some cool new cards, but Google threw a fit and made us update our internal mechanisms, so what we have here is a simple balance change / bug fix update. The update should be live some time during September 2nd EST - so keep checking the app store / google play.
BALANCE CHANGES
rr168 Commodore Latimer REJIG: Abilities reversed. While Commodore Latimer is in your crew, other pirate allies cost you 1 less resource to summon. The first pirate ally you summon each turn has haste. rr021 Dockside Coercer NERF: will be unique moving forward. rr191 The Tempest Queen NERF: its bonus is capped at +3. rr027 Hull Lurker & rr161 Swashbuckling Avenger They will be back - and function properly.
STABLE ANDROID VERSION & WELCOME BASKET
Some other intangibles will include a MUCH more stable connection for Android players (should be far fewer crashes), and our in-app purchases will get dinged a lower percentage by Google (thanks Google!). We have been adding a lot of players to the game lately, and we are about to make another major push to add players. So, we need everyone to update as soon as it is available. To this end, this update will come with a welcome basket! Each player will earn 3 PAC and 3 Premium Foil Packs after your first win using the updated client.
