  • ablaze is a keyword negative effect (in bold in the area of the card effect).

  • An ablaze hero or ally takes 1 fire damage at the start of each of its controller's turns.
  • An ablaze hero or ally can still defend, attack or use abilities (unless some other effect is preventing that).
  • Heroes or allies that are set ablaze are shown with an orange colored fiery overlay.

  • There is no way to make a hero immune to fire damage
  • Some allies immune to fire damage are Furrion Terror; Flameborn Defiler and Infernus, Tyrant of the Damned.
  • Sacred Fire Walker (attachment) is the unique ability that gives immunity to fire (ally).
  • Combat reduction damage does not prevent the fire damage from ablaze (which is ability damage).
