• Ships are a new type of item.
• Like weapons, you can only control one ship at a time. If you summon another, the first is destroyed.
• Ships can have allies aboard as crew, shown like attachments, but they are still allies.
• Ships can be destroyed like other items and usually have durability.

• Usually a ship has an activated ability for an ally to join the crew.
• Allies in a crew are not targetable normally. Only by cards that reference an "ally in a crew" or "ally in your crew".
• Ally passive abilities are not active while in the crew, unless they specifically mention being in the crew or joining the crew.
• Only ally cards can be in the crew; if another card type became an ally, it can't join your crew.
  • (Think of the crew like bestowing capabilities onto the ship rather than having them personally.)
• When a ship leaves play, all crew aboard go to your hand.
• Unique applies to crew as well, so you can't have an ally in your crew and in play at the same time.
