seems the organizer gave up on it. =/

at the very least, no one has heard from him on it. i sent him a PM about someone else taking over running it, but didn't hear back.

I really hoped that this tournament was very spectacular, but even get a step and was turned off

I was expecting something like that, the guy joined SE and tryed to organize a tourney in the same week.

Kinda sad, esp that it looked and felt impressive when he started it. The rules were clear. The format was well-structured...

I doubt any prize was sent to the TD, it'd likely be sent directly to the winner. I wouldn't be surprised if Pete still backs the prize.

Well, I did another thread and the brackets, I don't know if it will work or even if there's enough people that still want to play this. I probably should not have tried because maybe people will think I'm trolling, but whatever, let's see what happens.
