I have a concern about the games, since it's best of 3 the right would be one player start each round. How are we gonna do this?

The only way is to start the first match as random, and play.

Then on the second match, keep restarting until the other player goes first. They aren't ranked games, so you won't lose anything for doing this.

The question is, is this a rule for the tournament? I don't think it states anywhere in the thread that the best of three has to alternate going first.

If it was, it should be stated somewhere. My opponent and I played, and he went first both times.

Although I sort of like the idea of having one go first, then letting the other, then making the third game (if necessary) random. So you don't get 2-0'd due to going second x2.

But it doesn't seem like that's in place for this tourney.

I don't think there is any written rule, but I would suggest it within the matches. Nobody can really argue against it, but it means you can't 'force' it if they don't want to. Most people will agree to it beforehand anyway, as they have just as much chance of going 2nd both times too.
