    Android IRC chat app help

Has anyone managed to use an Android mobile IRC app to link to the SE chat?

I tried downloading simple IRC and mIRC, but was never able to configure it to link me to the SE chat channel.

If anyone can help me with this, I will be very grateful.

I used AndChat and colloquy before and it's quite simple. Wel first u need to know that our address is IRC.freenode.net
The channel is #shadowera. From there u can set up your nickname with password and auto joining on opening

I downloaded Andchat and managed to configure it. Though the interface is really sucky... can't see the full name of the people in chat. Is colloquy worth paying for? I would only be using colloquy for SE and I not sure how much I will be using it...

Andchat interface do suck. But it's free.
Colloquy: I bought the app for ipad. So far it's good but due to the 10-min auto kick being 2-min auto kick I wouldn't recommend it. Before ios 7 I was able to use safari while colloquy is on background. But now not even 2 min it marks me as idle and going to DC me.
