Guess this is the reason it's not worth playing Jericho right now.

I'm not going into if Jericho is good/bad, just want to state that: in the current meta, use Zhanna over Jericho, she is actually good against mage's (used a lot at the moment) and she is also strong against any solo deck (because its just hard to kill her).

If the meta ever swifts to lots of warriors or if in the expansion there are a lot more attachments/effects (that are used in all decks) then I would advice using him, until then, Zhanna it is.

Thats exactly what makes jericho a no-tier 2 heroe. You had to say X situations where jericho works, meaning that this heroe does not take advantage of his ability in every match up, but only in some situations (adding to this that you will use your ability only once per game due to its SE cost. Twice if you are lucky and use GM+TO as drawing engine). I agree that priest have the best control cards of the game, but jericho ability and its cost are not enough to make him a tier 2 heroe.

So does that mean you would have him at tier 3?

To be clear, tier 3 as is currently understood in SE means that he has few good match ups, if any (as opposed to tier 1 whereby heroes have few bad match ups, if any). Tier 2 heroes are somewhere in between which is where I think Jericho is given his good match ups.

I would agree, the amount of heroes he is bad against would make him tier 2, but the problem is that those are kind of all the most played heroes, so the amount of times you meet them is very high, so with the current meta he is tier 2.5 (or even 3, because like 80% of his matches will be bad matches)
