The only dispute should be the "extra sharp".

IMO, the deck should include some "surprise" factor, like extra sharp, bloodlust.
The reason i chose ES over BL, is due to the cost, 2cc vs 3cc. There will more variety in term of combination of card usage in the mid game, T5, if no PB, or not suitable to cast PB, drop a 3cc ally and ES to get board control, after T6 2 3cc ally, T7 can drop PB and a ES again.
Another reason, in an even game there will be quite rare to have more than 2 active allies, so It will be similar effect to cast es or bl.
Someone may say in dealing with mill deck, there will be more active allies in the board, but BL is not the key card to handle DC,
Zaladar can almost auto-win DC, bcz of 2 x Shriek of Vengeance+1 x Soul Reaper+1 x Eternal Renewal.

Just now lose to a DC, bcz i use DR to hit twice, then he got my 2 Shriek ...

i am in just total shock over this thread. the shock hit me twice. the original post and this last one. 2 Zaladar decks that... im just at a loss for words. the best total card pool in the game, in my opinion (people can argue this but will still agree its one of the best) and these are the best decks you both can come up with? im really not wanting to be a troll, really really not trying to be... but really? the best? bascially, the only thing either of you got totally right is having 4 mind control.

ES over BL... really? cause of 1cc difference? think mind control since you know about that... what happens? crippling blow? retreat? a dozen other things. your opponent cannot stop a bloodlust AT ALL... EVER. (feels like im talking about elementalis again... this is a Zal thread right?... not some weird time warp thing?)

Funny. I remember one of your initial threads where you posted that you liked to make decks that make use of cards that are not "standard" and put your own flavor to it and now that a person does the same thing with a valid reason for his choice and you attack him. Tsk. Tsk.

ok ok i tried to build a deck close to this last one maybe you can use it or tweak it to your liking

4x gargoyle
3x plasma behemoth
2x deathmage
3x shadow knight
3x spark

2x energy discharge
1x soul reaper
4x mind control
1x eternal renewal
1x shriek
1x acid jet
3x shadowfont
2x extra sharp
3x bazaar
4x bad santa
2x AoA


stay away from dim ripper no matter what other people say, you have some of the best cards in elementals, you dont want to lose them.

its lighter on allies but thats perfectly fine for zaladar. between his ability, mind control and energy discharge AND AoA, this is perfectly fine.

with zal... you want to draw, so 3 bazaars and 4 bad santas. i wanted to take the extra sharp out and add feedback but i tried keeping the extra sharp in. i would like more item destruction but i ran out of room. you can tweak the deck more and maybe add some more.

lack of 2 cc allies might hinder you a little bit but your best turn 2 play is bazaar anyway.

save the shadow knights for one of two things... either to bring back a plasma behemoth or to start a continuous cycle of shadow knights.
