Question GB deck fails against Gwenneth Truesight

Well, I've read some strategy posts here and made a 34 GB deck, trying to balance creatures and spells. Of course, as any GB deck it tends to be more creature biased. Here follows the deck:

    3x deathbone
    2x infernal gargoyle
    2x brutalis
    2x plasma behemoth
    2x chimera
    3x belladonna
    1x medusil
    2x thaddeus
    2x carniboar
    3x fireball
    3x lightning strike
    2x portal
    2x supernova
    2x bloodlust
    1x snow saphire
    1x violet thunderstorm
    1x wrath of summer

I've won a lot of matches, with good control of the board and quick "final blows" when there was a lot of my creatures summoned, specially after casting portal. However, I can't win against Gwenneth decks. I noticed that those decks rely strongly on items, but I tend not to like Shriek. Do you guys think that adding 2 or 3 SVs to my deck would turn it into a more competitive against Gwenneth? Or there is another way?

Some things to keep in mind:
    - To HARDCOUNTER Gwen, all you have to do is play a Snow Sapphire. So at least add 2, or even 3. Remove violet thunderstorm and wrath of summer from your deck.
    - Vs Gwen specific, use Brutalis and Portal to keep the durability of the bows low. So max out on Brutalis, add another Portal. Also (general advice) max out Infernal Gargoyle and remove deathbones and chimeras. Carniboar CAN be good, but he usually isn't. 3-4x Shadow Knight. He's awesome in Gravebone. He's awesome with Portal. He's just simply... Awesome

If you want to add some changes to specifically and only counter Gwen. I'd add some Brutal Minotaur. Their basic attack of 6 is Brutal. And Hunters just can't kill him with one blow. Even when they have rapid fire out, they need to hit it twice, reducing durability by 2 and also taking at least 3 damage (in case of Soul Seeker healing, if it's another bow, they take the full 6 damage)

Yes shriek are usefull, it's always welcome to shriek a soul seeker with 3 durability, or a easy way to deal with some armor like KIng Pride.

I suggest you to remove your warth of summer and violet thunderstorm which are terrible card. You don't have shadow knight and using warth of summer will burn precious shadow energy.

Maybe try to have 4x the best allies, like gargoyl, you will get them easily when you need them (early game), death mage is very good but unique, take 3 of them. Also deathbone will died easily and will use to much Shadow Energy. You have no draw engine, Gravebella don't have issue with that, because there're bella and shadowknight, without these cards, i suggest some research.

Gravebella is the best deck you can make for Gravebone, IMO, and Killtrend spend a lot of time to explain the strategy to use it effectively.

Edit : i was too slow.. Lol.

    Gwen cannot consistently beat gravebone.

    Why?

She relies on weapons. Weapons have durability.

Gravebone played correctly swarms, destroying weapons usually without a shriek in one turn.

Drop the useless stuff, max out on 4 health creatures. Go to town. I have multiple gravebella versions, all which work excellent against her. See my most popular 1.25 build that still wrecks it's way through quick match btw. There are 30 and 40 card versions out. Search up Gravebella Beatdown and click the one with all the views.

I am working on a new build now if you want to be up to date. You'll find it in my sig.

I am going to have to partailly disagree with this. I played gwen for quite a while and always loved seeing gravebone. I will say this : gwen is a pain without snow saphire. Any decent gwen deck carrying a few lilly's + into the forest can get past 4 shrieks and destroy your resources in the process. With lilly, 4 soul seekers turns into 8. If you use retreat effectively, it could literally be 12. So durability is no longer really a problem for gwen. but snow saphire and jericho were the only things that ever gave me trouble. Gargoyles are a pain, but even those die with two shots. The problem with gravebone is lack of a draw engine. Getting a fast start is crucial with him. But these are just my opinions.
@ durigan : if you want a GB deck to counter gwen, carry allys that are going to take at least two shots to kill - chimera, pb, minotaur, gargoyle.
and of course, keep at least 1 snow saphire. What i hated most while playing against mages while using gwen was poison gas/engulf flames + snow saphire. good luck

also, if anyone is looking for a good gwen deck, i have a very effective 33 card version...pm me

    Best counters to Gwen:

5 hp + allies. BM is lethal to her, as she loses 3 hp every time she takes him out with ss. 6 hp if she does it with bdb.

At least one snow saph should be in any gb deck unless you are skilled enough to simply wear out a bow and not lose allies.

The key is wearing down the bows defense on your turn.

When I say I rarely use 2 shrieks against a Gwen, I mean it.

GB doesn't have a draw engine? Are you drunk? He has 4. Research, solid. Belladonna, solid. His ability+Belladonna, really solid. Shadow knight, solid.

I'd say GB has excellent draw. Drawing belladonna and shadow knights from the graveyard is pretty optimal.

soul seeker + Lily + retreat = 12 bow ? It's a joke ? How can you manage to do this in a game ?
