Inconsistent card behavior

The description of the Ipshtuer Leander and Engineer's Harness implies that these cards trigger their effects only when I transform an item into an ally, which is not true. They trigger their effects even when I transform an ally into a homunculus ally through Lilyt of Orem's ability. On the other hand, when I transform an ally into a homunculus ally via Suspended Animation, their effects will not trigger.

Can you make the behavior of these cards more consistent and describe their accurate effects in their descriptions?
