Not much news to report. My son and I are eagerly awaiting the 1.3 upgrade and the arrival of the physical cards (cards will be there in March, bonus foil cards! Yum!). With the extra bonus Shadow Crystals I should have enough to get a full set of all cards online.

After about 2 Months of play two random thoughts on the game:

- There's a lot of focus on deck building on the Forum, probably because it's an easy-to-discuss topic. But I have the impression that gameplay quality is at least as important. If I were to take the exact same deck as a 300+ player, I would not get *near* that rating. An expert player anticipates on his own cards to come, on the likely opponent cards to come, on who goes first, on the board, on who has card advantage, ...

I've been trying out Keaven's Garbage Disposal Amber, or slight variations of it. While certainly a lot of fun, results are pretty uneven sofar, and worse than my Boris Deck, but maybe I haven't changed my play enough yet to suit the deck.

But it *is* fun. High point sofar: Wiping out all Zhanna's allies with *her* Tidal Wave...

There are some really creative ideas out there in the Strategy Forums. This great community is certainly one of the strong points of Shadow ...

I ordered a 2-pack set of physical cards (Human and Shadow Warrior), which nicely came with another 2700 Shadow Crystals. Son and I are looking forward to receiving them in March. The ultimate 800-Card collection set actually looked quite tempting, but I'm too cheap, and I don't like the game *that* much
