Sup ppl, I have to vent about this, its driving me insane

What's the deal with the multiplayer? Get a game started and go through a couple turns and then its like the person I'm playing just fell off the face of the earth! Then I get the message "game was too short to gain exp"!! And then the worst part is when it keeps happening and you just want to throw in the towel, YOUR RATING GETS DROPPED! I'm sorry but I'm not gonna wait 5 minutes to only get that dreaded message! ...
