    I've said multiple times that SF is not locked down yet and balance changes will happen after WC2014 is done. If there's some actual problem with Moonstaller, which today I think was just a very smart call by Maxi1230, then we will not ignore it.
    Millstalker is not a SF problem, it started before, but Wulven prefers to have a game-breaking deck (a NPE) rather than change (or ban) printed cards.
    MTG cards are reworded (ever heard of oracle text?) or banned and the physical game works, why Wulven insist in not changing any released card?
    The crazy thing is that in SF there are even more cards that make Millstalker stronger, for example Aldmor Accelerator.
    Luckily Loest is preventing Millstalker to be consistently dominant because he can remove Lone Wolf and burn him down, but this may not be enough.

    Nah, Millstalker's fine...It's just either you're ready for it or you're not. I guess people in the wild card weren't. And I think the principle of not banning cards after printing is a good one to try to adhere to. Magic didn't beta-test their product. They sold them to customers who were then beta-testers - that's why they had so much errata, banning of cards, etc. You shouldn't have to keep up with the latest news to understand how to play a game.

    got to agree with Bob here. its a viable and valid deck to use. you can hate it as much as you want, but truthfully, its everyone's fault millstalker made an appearance why? there was a lot of "mage hate" during this wc. which lead to fewer and fewer people playing a a mage as the tournament went on... which led to opening up the field for a millstalker. people were not prepared for millstalker because they prepared more for mages. kudos to Maxi for bringing out millstalker for this. he read the meta and brought the proper deck to win

    To add to GDC's point, it's perfectly sound to Balance cards after WC. Or after any major tourney.

    The winner simply proves that he is the champ among his peers based on the current meta, which is based on whatever cards that are currently present. The meta can be slated towards a certain direction or limited deck archetypes; it does not matter.

    If one visualizes the balancing as a long journey, then 'standard' tourneys (major or otherwise) are key pit stops that allows Devs to pause and reexamine if some cards need to be revised. (It is assumed that all tourney players will bring their 'best' deck)

    While these pit stops are Important, the sole crucial stop is only the one at the end, the final destination, ie. SF is finalized.

    Millstalker is not broken, but definitely NPE. all games in general try to avoid NPE since it drives away players.
