    Soulseeker vs. Mind-Controlled ally

Mind Control is an oddity, because it will kill an ally even though its hero has no weapon. But if weapons or armour are present, they lose durability, which shows that they are being used.

Mind Control was used against my ally while my Banebow possessed Soul Seeker. The ally died, and the weapon lost one unit of durability. Why didn't Banebow heal? It seems as though something is wrong, and Mind Control is trying to have it both ways!

    Hi there.

    Ruling Explanation:

If the ally was killed by Soul Seeker then you should get the heal, as written on the card.

If the ally was killed by the second effect of Mind Control then that was not in combat and your hero didn't kill the ally either, so you get no heal.

You could deduce how the ally was killed based on the health before the Mind Control was used and the attack value of Soul Seeker. Since I don't know what that is, I can't tell you if it's a bug or not. Please post as a bug if you think the above rulings were not applied in your match.
