STATUS: Round 2
Round 2 deadline: March 16th 8AM gmt+0
FORMAT AND RULES
1. Single elimination tournament.
2. Decks are locked for the entire tournament.
3. Open deck tournament:
Before tournament starts, each player must submit 4 decks to Tournament Organizer (via Telegram @NikVeles), each from a different class. When you submit a deck it has to have entire decklist with deckcode. It is best to use export button in the deckbuilder. Otherwise, your submission won't be valid.
For the purpose of this tournament cross faction classes are considered separate classes. This makes available pool of classes to choose from: Human Warrior, Human Mage, Human Hunter, Priest, Rogue, Shadow Warrior, Shadow Mage, Shadow Hunter, Wulven, Elemental.
Example of allowed line up:
Amber(Human Warrior), Eladwen
(Human Mage), Logan (Shadow Warrior), Zhanna
(Priest).
Example of forbidden line up:
Amber(Human Warrior), Elad (Human Mage), Tala (Human Warrior), Zhanna
(Priest). This one has 2 Human Warriors which is not allowed.
All decklists will be published together with tournament brackets.
4. All matches will be Best of Five with a ban:
Before a match, player bans one deck for their opponent. Match is played with remaining 3 decks. When a player wins with a deck, they can not use that deck for the rest of the match and must switch to one of their remaining decks. When a player loses with a deck they can continue with their losing deck or they can switch to one of their remaining decks.
First turn advantage is decided like this: Game 1 random, Game 2 alternate, Game 3 random, Game 4 alternate, Game 5 random.
If this sounds familiar to you, it is Hearthstone's Conquest Format and they have handy video explanation of it:

5. How to determine bans? Before every match, both players will start a game with a hero they wish to ban for their opponent. You load a hero you wish to ban for your opponent. They do the same. You start a game just to show each other your bans. And after that proceed to play Bo5 match with remaining 3 decks in a way explained under rule 4. In case you load a hero that your opponent does not have, they can choose themselves and announce which hero they will not use for that match.
6. Each round will be 7 days long, unless TO specifies otherwise in advance. Not meeting the deadline may lead to autowin for a player who put more effort into scheduling the match, as decided by TO.
7. Draws or sync errors are treated the same: replay with the same starting order.
8. If a player is disconnected during a game, the victory goes to the other player unless both players agree to replay or a player concedes.
9. Not following a set rule may lead to player disqualification, as decided by TO. All decisions made by the TO are final.
10. To sign up, post your In Game Name (IGN) and Telegram Username or contact the TO @NikVeles on Telegram. For your entry to be eligible you will have to submit decklists before brackets are posted.
