    Counters

    Maybe this'll make it look a bit too much like Magic: The Gathering, but I'd love to have some instant-like cards. Spells you can cast during your opponent's turn. Of course you'll have to have the required resources for that. But I think it can add a nice extra piece of tactic. Please let me know what you guys think...

    Hmmm, I think this would interfere too much with the game mechanics as it is now. Imagine the horde of bugs...
    I don't know, don't really like the idea.

    The idea is great, and will not create as many bugs as are already created by the introduction of new cards. However it isn't happening because Kyle wants to keep us in the confines of our own turn.

    You mean like trap cards? That's the only reasonable way this would work.

    We DO have trap cards. Hunters' death and web traps.
    I do think we need more though...

    They don't have to be traps, just items that will trigger when certain conditions are met.

    That is a trap.

    Currently the only trap cards trigger when an ally is deployed.

    You can set trap cards (still need to cast them!) To trigger when other conditions are met. Such as an item used, damage taken, et cetera.

    And for traps to be remotely worth it they shouldn't cost an arm and a leg but cost should be based on the effectiveness. For instance the two current traps are very situational, and for their cost are not very effective. That is why I keep saying that they should be reduced by 1.

    I am up for this, as i was also a yugioh player and i am accustomed to the trap notion. Although first it would need to give every hero access to item destruction.
