    Aetherborn Wisp

I was thinking about Aetherborn Wisp.

    What about to say:
"When a player discards a card from their deck, Aetherborn Wisp gains +1 base attack and +1 health."

That would be nice when opponent e.g. used Praxix ability or e. g. an Crystal Shards is in play ;-).
But then the rarity of the card should be probably changed, too?

    What do you think?

That would completely destroy the synergy between the Wisp and Tenacious Buccaneer, Abomination Factory and Glimmer of Hope.

So, I'd say no, especially when the card isn't even that good right now.

I'd prefer to use Aetherborn Wisp as something more than a Praxix counter. "Discarded from anywhere" is an option as some cards work that way, but that's a significant buff and I think it's fine the way it is: useful in some decks, less in others, counters some decks (that discard from hand-with cultists for example).

Too unbalanced if is from anywhere (my opinion), i guess the card should be thought from the owner's deck mechanic, and not in "if i have luck and my opponent is Praxis/Serena this will work nice"

Serena discards from hand - it's really only a few deck archetypes and cards that discard directly from deck and only Crsytal Shards is available to humans. Crystal Shards is both cheap and a near certain +4/+4 buff with the proposed change. So the card would become both one-dimmensional (since humans have many ways to discard / force a discard from hand) and overpowered in that one scenario.

It would be OP with the change. I don't love Aetherborn - I see him as mostly a defense against Elementals running Antimatter, which does discard out of hand as part of a draw mechanism. But it is expensive for what it is - and hard to make stick. You'd be better off using your own resources to maintain card advantage, or put out better threats.

Honestly this card is a threat when played with Serena and her cutlass he gets buffed quickly!
