Rothem's Wrath [DP 2.012]

Fast becoming my favourite card, and certainly the strongest armour in the game, here is the start of a Logan theme combined with Shadow Knight:

JD has a double effect of holding till about T5/6/7 and go on a killing spree. If you can hold it till T8 you can deploy Rothem's Visage on T8 with Lythe Coating.

Rothem's Visage and Shadow Knight is a match made in heaven. Portal Maj eat your heart out.

It can work fine with Shadow Knight pseudo draw to stall.

This looks amazing, I'll have to try it! I tried a version with Ter Adun but it wasn't so good, this seems to fix a lot of problems

I really like the look of this deck, Keaven please can you explain your typical card order when playing this deck?

Also, I never see the colossus in the market so I find it hard to buy 2, what would be a good substitute?

There really is no typical startup, but there are two main types of strategies based around whether or not you get a Bazaar by turn 2:

The ultimate goal is not to kill with weapons, merely to control the board through the turns whilst building resources until you can get a Rothem's Visage and accumulated SE for a barrage of sequential turns with hard hitting hasted allies.

If you can drop Bazaar T2 you should collect Killing Blows waiting (or holding) out for a Jeweller's Dream to board wipe before getting a Rothem's Visage with Lythe Coating. If not, you will need to sacrifice early killing blows so that you can still build to high resources using as few cards as you can and stalling.

Scourge is present for potentially unlimited item destruction through haste from Rothem's Visage, and recurrence from Shadow Knights and Arthyles Crypt. If you cannot obtain the card, I would recommend some form of item destruction and not shriek as this is too counterproductive in gaining momentum in this high cost build, although not as universal as Scourge Colossus, the card draw from Ley Line Nexus is the best fit.
