Can you explain the decision to include Thoughtful Investment? Is that to ramp into weapon on t4 or what?

What if you don't get TI by T3? I think you should include 4 if it is pivotal to your strategy.

I don't quite agree with TI for the following reasons.

    Not getting it by T3

    Subsequent TIs are useless :-(

All you gain from a early TI is one turn. What you lose from including TI in your deck could be multiple turns when you are desperately digging your deck for weapons or stall cards.

Gwen doesn't want resources fast. She wants the magic number 9SE so she can pwn face with 6 Buffed shots. A successful TI ramp might net you 2 extra shots 1 turn early (4dmg). But is it worth the fuss/risks? We could be using other means of doing that 4 damage, or strengthening your Win cons ( more card draw to draw stall cards/weaps)

    Suggestions
Replace TI with some Kris ? It would help with some damage, distracting opponent allies = more HP for Gwen, and also pinging down annoying armor durability.

Just my two cents as a Gwen main at 240 rating :S

I am not looking to hunt for allies. This deck is intended to attack hero and forget allies. So i ignore adding poison arrow or snare trap just to name a few.

There are no more stall cards available for her. 2 card types are already included. So i added this card for the reason i mentioned above. If ever i don't have it in turn 3, i still play it in later turn to up the resources and sacrifice the rest.

I prefer using Grundler's Double over Featherd Longbow because it can attack stealth allies and Moonstalker.

Bazaar seems like asking for trouble, it's going to help out some opponents more than you. Also honestly, I can see your reasoning on TI, but I don't think it's right. Accelerating the resources isn't important enough to risk dead draws, wasted tempo, etc. I'm also looking for a deck to break Thoughtful Investment but I don't think this is it. The core of your deck seems basically solid though, for a control version of Gwen. You should probably just include 3 Feathered Longbows in addition to the weapons you run now and take out thoughtful investment. Also, not including any allies seems like the wrong move, because Grundler's Double is a great draw engine. I would try adding some Lily or Wendeth, or maybe Layarian Seductress.

Word of the Prophet and Shrine of Negatia also seem weak/ unnecessary. I understand the Shrine + Rain Delay trick... It's just not all that good.

Sorry if it sounds like I'm being snarky, don't mean to, just my two cents.

EDIT: Also, Crescent of Doom seems way too good for a solo or semi-solo Gwen deck not to use 2-4 copies of it.

A bazaar played too early might indeed hurt you by aiding your opponents rush. But in the later turns, bazaar helps you to draw your stalling cards which nullifies the entire board turn after turn. Just be careful casting it early against heroes who can rush you down. Especially Amber.

Crescent of doom seems good in theory but slows down your hero-killing speed. The extra resource to summon doesn't help much when ITF and rain delay can ignore entire boards. You actually want your opponent to summon more allies so you can ignore them

Just my two cents. I play Gwen a lot so I like to discuss what is good for her.

I just had a bit of an idea. Given the solo nature of most Gwen decks, opponents are likely to sac Ally control cards. Therefore, adding a few Erikas will present the opponent with a 4 damage threat he can't ignore/cant deal with. And dealing with it saves you some health and time to charge up your SE!

BRB, gonna add some Erikas to my deck. I'll tell you guys how it goes after a few games.
