@Berdugo: Funny how refreshing the excuses players come up with just to grab that one more game or that sought after stack of cards. Lmao!

@Raph:Hmm that's very true, hero attachments are very powerful cards and can totally stall the game to a stop still most of the time. Not very productive when we're short of time.

And yes. I give a vote to a non-se related meet up too. Give the old CotC card set a break till the new cards are shipped, grabbing a bite out or a drink would be a better idea.

I would bring a deck or two for the sake of new faces interested.

@allanglorious: it's never planned but we tend to post up on the official forums here at least 1~2weeks earlier to confirm attendance in advance before anything happens, till then the nearest one next would probably be when the sgtcc comes.

Well, it seems it's only lone wolf that's causing the issue? I think enrage and rampage are fine?

I dunno..... Plus, it's not always 100% that the player can draw LW in time? But from what I see playing vs u and Keropok, the LW seems OP.

As I suggested, maybe I'll restrict deck size to a max of 32 if anyone wants to play LW.

(Then again, if the LW player has eternal renewal....)

For meet ups, I usually inquire the available dates of players quite early.

The cornerstones of the singapore scene are me, geckt, Berdugo and atomzed. Cos we are the ones with the physical card decks. (Not just cards)

Dire will take lead whenever he's back in singapore, of cos.

So, at least 2 of us needs to be available from late afternoon, maybe around 3pm till evening, so that we can accommodate players who can only make it for the Afternoon usually for constructed games. Then, someone needs to be tournament organizer for the evening's meltdown, and that person must have boosters.

There must be at least 4 persons for meltdown so hence, Among the 4 of us, 2 of us must be there, so that in case there are only 3 persons, we can opt not to play meltdown and instead stick to playing constructed decks that the four of us have.

I have an 'evil' plan for the afternoon players. Thanks to Keropok + my own collection, I have a sizable amount of spare cards, I can actually 'make' my own booster packs and we actually can play meltdown for free in the afternoon; for those players who can't make it for the actual evening's meltdown.

But I am not too keen on the idea: that would mean that wulven's not going to make money and the players in singapore won't spend money on SE, I'll still like to see wulven making some profit and essentially, the meet ups are meant to generate and nurture more interest in the game, driving more players to buy complete playsets and all.

Plus: those 'self-made' boosters won't have popular cards like garg, puwen, jas,aldon, etc, cos those cards are all in my decks.

But since I have so many cards, maybe we can have 5 boosters each instead of 4. (Deck size min 35?)

In fact, I might want to do that for the evening meltdown. 5 boosters. Also, we can try drafting again, it was a lot of fun.

And of course, if we are ever going to explore 'self-made' boosters, the players must return all cards and sleeves back to me, lol. There won't be any redemption codes as well, of course. No excitement on finding a foil to keep, etc.

All in all, my prime goal is to allow singapore players to meet up and see each other and ultimately, have some fun.

I don't make any income or money at all being an Organiser but I enjoy the process and seeing you guys have fun.

It's my philosophy that you guys will continue to come and join and link up only if its fun (duh...), so hence I'll always make that the prime goal.

I'll always bring a lot of supplies for anyone who wants to play. I hope everyone had sufficient dice, life stones, life counters, crystals, status dice, I think I brought enough.

Let me know if there are other improvements I can make to make the sessions better, or the games smoother. (No, I cannot provide an iPad life counter for every pair of players....) and go easy on me cos I am not a paid wulven salesman.

Moving forward, I am going to make a lot more status dice so that we can share better, I will also be buying more of the Japanese 'wheel' life counters, unless you guys prefer to use dice or the mtg life apps. Let me know.

By the way, in case anyone's curious, I already ordered dp + cotc booster boxes....

So I'm in for the long run, and I will be looking forward to contributing to the local (and asia) SE scene.

We don't always have to use my boosters for our meltdown games, I am sure dire, atomzed and geckt would have some dp ones, but I'll like to keep some in stock so that if I am flying overseas, I can just bring a booster box (24 packs) + playing supplies (chessex makes very cute small dices!!!!) and I can organize a meltdown tourney in any part of the world.

Also, anyone's free to do some trading once the games are over, especially if u want a nishaven/majiya hero card for your own collection, etc, or you spotted a cool foil that someone has in one of his/her booster packs.

I wanna do some pre-oder for physical cards. under the sc bonus $50,000, it states that "We're going to match all pre-orders with the equivalent amount of Shadow Crystals in the digital game. That's right, you'll get the Shadow Crystals immediately, and then essentially the physical cards are free!".

Does it mean if i pre-order and paid for it, I immediately get the shadow crystals in the digital game ?

if yes, how much crystals will I be getting for the epic collection or the booster box ?

Yes u will get them right away to the email of your game account. For booster box u get 4500 shadow crystals and u get 9000 crystals for epic collection. There is a bar on the web page, where u confirm your payment, that will require you to put ur email that u use to log in the game.
