1. someone who browses the forums looking for ways to derail conversations.
Some trolls like to talk about penguins when I talk about cats.

2. someone who browses the forum looking for ways to spread chaos and suffering. This is often done by denigrating other members or posting politically divisive comments.
I don’t understand why that troll keeps calling cats stupid. I just want to talk about kittens, with guns.

Verb
1. to act in a manner that indicates one is a troll.
Time to go troll the forums and see how many newbies are posting in the wrong sections again.
