Day One Countdown

Rate this Entry
The new deck is Baduruu. We're trying to make a solid deck build for him, one that will let him fight on something like an even footing.

Details on the deck can be found in the Hunter Strategy forums underneath the title "Tick-Tock, You're Dead."

First Round vs Banebow

Any game with this deck is going to be a long fight. Banebow solo with thieving from my graveyard made it even longer.

However, the solid set-up and plentiful use of Bad Santa, coupled with Crimson Vest and its 2 damage soak against weapons, allowed for a clear victory to be found.

Round One vs Banebow - 1-0

    Round Two vs Darkclaw

Ah, here it is: the worst match-up this deck can face. Solo opHeros who can hide and heal will be the penultimate downfall for this deck. That is perfectly fine, though. Every deck has its mortal bane, the one that will beat it no matter how good a draw you get or how excellent you handle your choices. Sever Ties could have helped fight, so too with Shriek of Vengence...but only at the expense of either adding in cards or weakening the current build. If I was trying to make a 300+ deck...well, I wouldn't play Baduruu. Nor am I trying to make that deck. This is simply to give Baduruu a fighting chance, instead of relegating him to the ash heap of ignobility as a Tier 3 Hero.

We're aiming for Tier 2 at least!
