The fact that we are near the end 2014 without finalizing the third set is very discouraging. Ideally, I wish we were testing the 4th set by now but the lack of development resources and puts the longevity of the game in question.

How much did they collect eventually? 70k+ ?

If thats the case the struggle may be aiming low and promising high. The amounts spelled here can hardly cover anual salary of a single coder, and we are talking about multiple coding projects, game expansion , and art work design. I am not sure what the initial calculations were but I guess they just shared every feature they wanted to add eventually, and hoped for getting as much as support they could.

It seems to me as more of a communication problem. The amount collected is obviously not enough to cover all the promised expansions. They should have stated the difference between where they want to carry SE and what actually can be completed with the collected amount. I am sure users would appericiate the communication and keep supporting their favorite game company.

I have mixed feelings about this.

Let's start with the bad ones: we know Wulven is slow, but man, one year and a lot of arts are still missing! No campaign, no tournament system, no 2vs2 games, no auction house... What the hell was done in a whole year? The new targeting system (which is actually nice I have to say) and a new start screen! I guess it isn't enough.

The good: I backed 10$ and I got 1000 sx, 20 boosters, crystal anthology deck and a foil of my choice. It's A LOT for 10$ and it's not over, in 2018 (let's keep enthusiasm under control :P ) maybe I'll receive the alternate versions of the 20 cards that were voted. It's a very good reward for what I backed and I can't complain because almost everything has been delivered in time.

So yeah, Wulven is slow, but you can't say you didn't have a return for your money, because you had.
I hope they deliver custom sleeves as soon as possible to those who payed enough though.

Nearly 80k. Collectively, since its release, Wulven has raised nearly 500k on kickstsrters alone. That's not including purchases and donations outside of kick starting.

If you count taxes, salaries, servers, bills and you spread it in 4-5 years it's not so much. It's definitely an help, but Wulven isn't Blizzard now.

I have to agree with this - Just getting all of the stuff we did already was worth what I spent.

Wulven did say we were going to get a bunch of new features and I would mostly just like to know how those are coming.
I would like to know even how the search for art is coming. Do you have a bunch you're considering? Are you having trouble finding ones that fit? Do you have it all lined up and are waiting for the artists to finish? :|

No not everything .. If you check the link that was provided (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...tform-card-game ) when Wulven first started Kickstarter you will realise actually very little that was promised has been delivered in the 12 months. Wulven are strangely silent on this subject too don't you think

Okay, let's get one thing straight here. We, kick start backers, did not purchase anything. We funded the Shattered Fates expansion that promised to expand Wulvens roster by "hiring new fulltime developers and artists to drastically improve the presentation quality of the game" by bringing 200 new cards to the game and introducing Campaign Mode, a 3D Battlefield, an Automated Tournament System, Player Auctions, an Improved Deck Builder, Player Profiles and Guild Leagues. Additional Stretch Goals also include (50k) Physical card rewards to backers of $500+, (60k) New Soundtracks, (70k) 20 Alternate Artworks for all backers and (80k) 2v2 and Free for All Battles. Those Shadow Crystals, Booster Packs, Duel Decks, Pick a Card, ect are only incentives. Rewards that persuaded individuals to fund the expansion by backing the Kick starter. They are not a part of the expansion that we kick start backers funded by investing our own money.
