Lightbulb [SF] Blood Rush and Moon Rush (Prototype) - thoughts, suggestions

    Blood Rush and Moon Rush

    Hero(1):
    Bloodfang
    Quick amped Howlfang + friends.
    or

    Hero(1):
    Moonstalker
    Protected Howlfang + friend.

    Base Deck:

    Allies:
    Wulven Tracker *3
4cc - He seems to be viable as a secondary draw now that he can hide behind Griptooth.
    Pack Wolf *4
2cc - He also is much more useful than he has been in the last meta.
    Wulven Predator *2
3cc - Just in case you need to bypass stealth and predator.
    Lightning Hunter *3
    4cc - in a word haste.
Howlfang, Terror of the Vale *2
6cc - Awesome beast that allows you to bring in an amped Dread Wolf.
    Bloodpack Shaman *4
    2cc - Shadow Knight's Wulven squire.
    Dread Wolf *3
    3cc - It's hungry and has haste.
    Soothjaw *2
4cc - Recycle ally that effectively replaces Arthyle's Crypt
    Griptooth *2
    5cc - Protector!

    Abilities:
    Blood Moon *3
    2cc - Base draw engine.
    Nocturnal Advantage *3
3cc - Amps allies and gives them ambush while removing stealth/hidden.
    Bloodthirsty *3
3cc - Another draw card that boosts with every kill.

    Items:
    Jeweler's Dream *2
    4cc - Resource renewal.

    Bloodfang Only:

    Abilities:
    Sacrificial Lamb *2
2cc - Secondary draw - great with Wrath of the Forest.

    Items:
    Wrath of the Forest *2
    4cc - Secondary draw.

    Moonstalker Only:

    Abilities:
    Bad Santa *2
2cc - Secondary draw, the help given to opposing heroes is minimized by Moonstalker's ability.

    Items:
    Howlfang's Breastplate *2
4cc - Awesome with Moonstalker who can hide.

    Total: 41 cards

I'm not going to do a full write up on the play style, if you've played a Moonstalker rush deck this is self explanatory. Besides, since Shattered Fates is still in BETA and the cards aren't finalized and I haven't polished my pure Wulven decks enough. I'm mostly just sharing these because I haven't posted a pure Wulven deck in a LONG time and I just wanted to share what I've been playing with. I did get these decks over 250, but being that there is so much new stuff to play with it just hasn't gotten enough focus from me. Both decks have been identical in effectiveness and play pretty much the same. Both drop Howlfang on turn 5 + an ally. Bloodfang brings out more of his allies for his hunting pack and rushes in for the kill. Moonstalker who has saved up her ability to use for the first time on turn 5 hides her babies in the den to nurse them up using Howlfang's Breastplate.

Anyway have fun and tell me what you think.

NOTE: I'm saving the name "Rushstalker for a different build I'm working on that is starting to become pure evil now that I have Overwhelms and what-not.

Couldn't make room for him, which is a problem I'm having with a lot of decks just now. I'll have to tinker with this deck to see if he can replace Wulven Tracker if anything. But it is nice to have the draw he offers to help me get an extra card before I get board-wiped on T5.

Well obviously I use bloodthirsty, however anything I stick bloodthirsty to gets killed quickly. Wulven Tracker gets killed easily too, but I need the extra draw. I am expecting to get wiped on turn 5, so any added cards that I have in hand on turn 6 are really important. Having both Wulven Tracker and Bloodthirsty ensure I have those extra cards. Also having both ensures that they are killed rather than my hero taking damage.

I did try playing with Wulven Tactician, just didn't work out for me very well. He works better in the Bloodfang Version of this deck.

    Hmm
Wulven Tactician seems to be such an awesome card
As you say you expect to get wiped out on turn 5 Wulven Tactician just delays that for one turn which is great against priests and mages
also works great against mind control

Wulven Tactician IS an awesome card, he likes my Bloodfang build more though. He is not really helpful in the Moonstalker version. However since Bloodfang's build already has a stronger draw engine I think WT has a home in the deck. I need to test it more.
