Elicit Information & Dark Revelations

From what I understand Elicit Information only give you a card if you discard opponent card from their hand
but when I use Dark Revelations to discard the top card from their deck, not from their hand, Elicit Information also give me a card

so is it supposed to be work like this or is it a bug ?

Heya,

Elicit Information should not allow you to draw a card with Dark Revelations as no cards were discarded from your hand to the graveyard. As such, this is a bug.
