I'm remember reading somewhere in the forums that foil-incentive cards are somewhere off in the distant future. I'm saving my crystals for those! Is that too much to hope for by 1.31?...

I am not looking forward to the merchant system thing. Why change the current one? It's already expensive enough right now to buy 4 aeon and 4 soul seeker. If you don't have much time to play, you will already buy crystals.

Imagine if they cost 5000 gold later.

Well what I want to do is buy what ever I can now and then sell for more gold later an investment of sorts.

What deck should you buy at this time that's the best bang for you deck as well.

You said you've already 4x each cards, so better buy a booster than a starter pack, you'll get some rare/uncommon to sell later. I don't know which cad is better to buy right now, jasmine/raven/aldon are already expensive. Maybe ou can try buying some kris. The merchant is out of stock of kris, so people seems to buy them a lot. They cost 100, you should sell them 200 or maybe more, when the auction will start, so it would be 200%. If you buy expensive cards you will need to sell them at a very expensive price, and i don't know if it will be easy.

@Bayfighter That sounds like a reasonable guesstimate. I'm more interested in the alternate artwork cards but foils will most likely come way before.

Sweet, glad to hear 1.31 is reasonable for foils. I'd prefer that any alternate/new artwork goes to brand new cards, but I'll gladly welcome any variations that add unique customization (ie: like in-game avatars) that result in individualized expression of personality.
