    Is using my deck ethical?

I hate for this to be my first post here on the forums, but I'm curious…

I just checked, and as of this writing, of the last 30 games played, the deck I use has won 26 times, at least with me at the helm. Go ahead and search my handle (MGLeet) to verify. And for the most part, the only matches I lose are ones that I almost win.

I don't want to say I've built an overpowered deck, I mean, I might be exceptionally lucky in who I play or what I draw, but an 87% win rate is on the high end. I'm beginning to feel bad playing with this deck because so far it's a near-guaranteed win.

So should I toss this for something worse, or is it okay/ethical to play a deck that arguably should have some restrictions? Here's the deck list.

    Hero:
    Majiya (Primarily) or Gravebone (Sometimes)

    Allies:
    4x Fire Snake
    3x Brutalis
    3x Infernal Gargoyle
    3x Bad Wolf
    3x Belladonna
    2x Plasma Behemoth

    Abilities/Items:
    3x Shriek of Vengeance
    2x Clinging Webs
    3x Bloodlust
    4x Fireball
    4x Lightning Strike
    3x Portal

Yes. It's a card game, ethics have nothing to do with it.

Your build is very standard for a gravebone, I think.

I use Gravebone once in a blue moon. I just get the feeling that I'm winning too much. Be it against any hero of any class. I don't particularly like that. And I dunno, I know it's a card game, but doesn't it damage the community if you win over and over?

I wouldn't worry about winning too much. The average skill level for a quick game is pretty low, and the majiya is a tier 1 hero. That will lead to lots of wins. Your winning ratio should keep you with a high 200's rating, but I think you'll lose more against higher rated players, which will push it down again.

Rolling newbies with a tuned deck eventually gets boring though, try signing up to the ladder for tougher competition.

30 games is nothing yet (I think arebelspy mentioned he's played 100+ games in a week or less). If you started at rating 0, then half of that was probably new players still getting a handle on the game. As others here suggested, if you want to test your deck with good players, signup for GDC's ladder30. Or add two more cards to your deck and you can join the ladder40. Or see how well you do with players ranked 230+ ratings.

Your deck looks decent. As others mentioned, as you go up in ratings, you'll start getting some more losses. Overall though I'd say this deck should have at least a 2/3 winning percent (20 out of last 30 games) or higher, simply because it is close to a Tier 1 deck. Don't feel too bad about that, and see how you can improve it!

Its because Majiya is the noob tube. Easy to get wins with it. The developers will fix it soon, I think.
