Cage Fight Survivors and Lilly's Gauntlet

While our recent cage fight broadcast got botched, the actual Cage Fights did happen. And those cage fights resulted in granting the 28th, 29th, and 30th World Championship slots to the following Cage Fight Survivors:

Slot 28: SK Trinolcour
Slot 29: TJ Inevitable
Slot 30: TJ Downsmash

If any of these players are already qualified at a higher rank, it is within their power to TRANSFER their ticket to any other player not already in the competition. This is a unique power and can be used at the player's sole discretion. The only rule is, it cannot be a player already in the competition or an alt thereof.

This power comes with responsibility however. The Cage Fight survivors are assigned as Guardians to protect the last 2 WC Seats. Slots 31 and 32 can only be earned by successfully completing Lilys Gauntlet!

Lily's Gauntlet
In honor of the birth of a brand new daughter (named Lily

) to our forum admin and tournament coordinator BT Frankenstein, we proudly announce a new annual competition called Lily

's Gauntlet!

Any player may sign up to run Lily

's Gauntlet. It is both the simplest, and the most difficult way to qualify for the World Championship. Simply sign up by replying to this thread or by messaging RS jlbjork in game or @TrollHerder in Telegram. Just state your IGN and your intent to run Lily

's Gauntlet. We will add you to the list if you are not already qualified for WC competition. ON a first come first serve basis, each player signed up for Lily's Gauntlet will face a 3 game trial. 1 game each - any deck, any hero - vs our 3 Cage Fight Survivors. The player must win all 3 games in order to claim their spot. The first 2 players to successfully run this gauntlet will be placed in the 31st and 32nd spots of the World Championship.

DCs will be replayed or counted as a loss at MY sole discretion. If any player's games cannot be scheduled when the Guardians announce they are available due to player's unavailability, they will be passed over for the next one on the list and will be placed at the end of the list.

Well the Guantlet is over, and the Guardians were able to fend off all but one valiant challenger. Congratulations to RS Atking for showing that it actually COULD be done!

This leaves the 32nd spot in the World Championship tournament up for grabs. Stay tuned to this thread for an announcement on how this spot will be filled!
