Tournament Style: team battle, every team should have 5 people with no substitutes (join only if you will be able to play)
*for avoiding any flaming in the tourney thread after the starting point, team should be presented by a "herald" who will be responsible for all official decisions.

Tournament Rules:
1. Each team should decide the characters of each member for each round, the winning score depend on which opponents (characters) you defeat:
One King - 10 honor points
Two Guards - 4 honor points
Two Squires - 2 honor points

Your team choice should be sent to the TO and kept secret until the end of a round.

2. Each team will play from their decided pool of 5 SE heroes this list will be published by the TO at the start of a round

3. After setting up the random brackets we can start Round phases:
Wheel of Fortune
a blind random (http://randomnumbergenerator.intemodino.com) should decide which herald will call first

The Call
the "herald" calls one of the enemies and announces a defender of own team, one by one we receive pairs of opponents

*feel free to do it by sending PM on forum, IRC or instant messages

The Clash
matches for players in pairs:
Each match is classic best of three with alternative start. Deck is match lock.
If a player is disconnected during a game, the victory goes to the other player unless both players agree to replay or a player concedes. The same applies for abusing consistent bugs.
If draw or sync error occurs the game should be replayed, unless a player concedes.
Using knowing bugs provides ban, check official bug section for bug list.

Fanfare
the TO will unveil the masks and announce overall the honor points for each team, please do not answer honestly "who you are" to your opponent - keep the intrigue up

The team with more honor points goes further.

Tutorial. "The Trial of Seven at Ashford Tourney" (c) The Hedge Knight

An altercation occurred between Duncan the Tall and Prince Aerion Targaryen. This resulted in Duncan striking the prince, claiming that he was only following the knight's vows to defend the weak. Aerion demanded a trial of seven to clear his name. Prince Daeron Targaryen also claimed to have been molested by Duncan so he made a claim as well. The two sides met on Ashford Meadow.

Before battle starts Prince Aerion decide that he will be Herald and take "King" character,

Wheel of Fortune shows that Prince Aerion will have first Call.

Prince Aerion name Ser Duncan as an opponent for himself,
Ser Duncan the Tall ask Prince Baelor to be opponent of Prince Maekar,
Than Prince Aerion call that Prince Daeron will face old Ser Robyn,

At the end, both Fossoways have to meet each other on the battlefield.

Hey SleepingDragon, this is a pretty cool tourney and i'm looking forward to it, but i have a couple of concerns / questions on how it'll work, too:
- During the Call stage, it feels like winning the coin toss would benefit one team a little too much. They already get to pick 3 pairings vs 2, but are also the first ones to pick. How about the team with only 2 picks at least gets to pick first? Or even, gets to pick whenever they want?

that is means that you cannot ignore Fortune in that game
IMHO it is like FTA in QM, nothing special, but if your herald is good tactician he should keep in mind that he possible will have to pick up second.
If we will set "the team with only 2 picks at least gets to pick first", than last 2 choices also will make "winner".

Hey SleepingDragon, this is a pretty cool tourney and i'm looking forward to it, but i have a couple of concerns / questions on how it'll work, too:
- 10 points for defeating the King means that the round is already decided if one King loses and the other one wins, since that's a 12-0 or 14-0 lead and the remaining 3 matches can only be worth 8 or 10 points. Now i know that it's not revealed who plays what role until all 5 matches are in, but for Guards and Squires it might feel like they've just been spinning their wheels when a round was long-decided. Iunno. I think 8 pts is enough for beating the King, just so it isn't the one figure everything revolves around.

King is equal to almost whole team by points, but not exactly: 10 is still less than 4+4+2+2
if fraction will lose leader, they almost "dead", but still have a chance - don't say to opponent that they "kill" him and concentrate on remaining matches.
Isn't it a nice "mind game" inside that tourney - to find an enemy King?

- What happens in case of a draw?

It is possible to have a draw match:
King A > Squires B1
Guard A1 < King B
Guard A2 < Guard B1
Squire A1 > Guard B2
Squire A2 > Squire B2

Team A: 2+4+2 = 8 points; Team B: 4+4 = 8 points

i don't think that we will have any draw in that tourney, but i think it will be honest way to meet heralds in one more Bo3 match with one of the announced hero pool character

- Can every team member pick from the pool of 5 heroes at will, or do they have to pick from the ones that haven't been picked by one of their mates yet?

as i said before - you have to use all 5 announced heroes, so you will surely know what hero you will face in last match

Due to the fact that we don´t know our opposing team in advance my team is a bit confused, bc we had a line up for Non-bp teams, BP teams and teams which players we know, so.. yeah. Now we have nothing and we have to revise our strategy.

i think it is good point for round-1
you still should find optimal condition, not just tech
p.s. also i allowed changes until it starts in every part of team info
