Update I got from sales on North American DP preorders

Unfortunately we've run out of stock of the new Dark Prophecies booster boxes in North America due to the larger than expected volume of preorders.

I got the above response about a week ago. I hope this helps anybody in the same boat as me waiting in North America.

I will say that the wording scares my some though. How can you have a larger then expected volume of preorders? They were preordered right? As in we paid befor the cards were ever made, so how could they be surprised that so many people paid?

yeah this news was shared like months ago i think, well they technically didnt know how many people would use their cotc preorder vouchers, maybe they were hoping for like 5% turnout and got 95% redemption of codes lol

But I ordered the complete play set. There was no voucher for that. No reason to get it wrong.

We got this update months ago. How can they not be finished making the cards yet? Does it really take 5 months to make cards? This doesn't make any sense.

Sure it does, if you're a small company dealing with a huge printer. I guess. Maybe.

Money could play a role? I dunno mate, it's all speculation to us.
