Can't "type" when trying to search or create games with passwords

    Hi,

A bit of a quirky problem - I'm using Safari 6.0 and I can login to Shadow Era without any hitches, but if I attempt to create custom games or search for games by players, I'm unable to type anything in the search box because my key presses aren't producing any output.

I can type anywhere else (in the address bar, for example), so I'm not sure why it's not working in that specific search box.

    Any suggestions?

I tried Safari 6 on a Macbook Air and it works fine. Try clearing the cache for Safari or using another browser, like Firefox.

Have tried clearing the cache and resetting safari completely, all to no avail. Note that I've resorted to using Chrome to play Shadow Era and that works fine, but I remain unable to type in any input on Safari (also on a macbook air, running Lion).

Not sure what else could be causing the problem...or if I need to revert to Chrome solely to play this game.

I don't believe I've heard of this issue before; or if I have, it's a rare occurrence and I've forgotten about it. Aside from clearing the cache, I don't use Safari much so I'm not sure what could be causing this problem for you.

Odd question, but why not install the actual game? No admin rights to install software?
