    Good morning faithful readers (and possible detractors),

    I decided after yesterday's 'stuff' that I would start afresh with a positive post.

    Today is the 31st! By all accounts the Closed Beta begins tomorrow. Details have not come from Kyle yet, but hopefully they'll come later today.

    I'm surprised how excited I am to see and play the game. This is like the day before your birthday, especially when you suspect that someone is going to throw you a surprise party.


    I imagine a lot of our questions about the rules and the mechanics of the game will be answered. The nice things about this computerized online medium is that there is no subjectivity on how to interpret the cards. There may be questions on whether the text of the card accurately reflects the mechanic, but in theory the card should be adjudicated properly.

    In theory.

    Initially the Closed Beta will be Web Based only (as this allows for fast updating of the software as issues are identified and reported). I'm hoping that we see additional platforms added to the Closed Beta soon. I'm looking forward to being able to play a quick game on my iPad while on break at work.

    And hopefully by tomorrow we'll all be playing. The nice thing is that it's a weekend.

    I can't wait.

      So Im guessing if your in the Beta you would know it already?

      If you signed up before the end Wednesday, you're automatically in!!

      Also, I assumed the beta was on iPhones!! Ahh, web is cool too. Hopefully we'll get it on our iPods and iPhones soon enough. I'm leaving to go camping on Wednesday until Friday so I won't be able to play on those dates. But still, I cannot wait!!

      Ouch, I saw that you were late. I would send an email to Kyle. You are really active and even wrote a couple blogs, it wouldn't be fair that you wouldn't get in while 300+ people with 1 post do!!
