* This effect was introduced in Call of the Crystals.

* Currently, there is no way to prevent a card from being discarded.
* Cards can only be discarded when not in play. -> They are discarded from the deck or from the hand.
* Discarding a card does not result in drawing one another, except if mentioned.
* If random is not mentioned for a "discarded card from hand", it's by the owner's choice, or with specified restrictions.
