		+	Defender is a keyword ability in Shadow Era.

		+	Defender allows for an ally or hero with the ability to do its combat damage first when being attacked. So for example a Cobra Demon that is attacked by a Jasmine Rosecult will strike Jasmine with its attack first and do its damage before Jasmine can do hers. This means that in a case where the Defender would do enough damage to kill the attacker, the attacker will be killed before getting to do any damage. This ability was introduced in Call of the Crystals.
