Well, we wanted to do this update at the end of September and include some cool new cards, but Google threw a fit and made us update our internal mechanisms, so what we have here is a simple balance change / bug fix update. The update is LIVE NOW - so make sure you are up to date!
Here are the upsides:
1) Latimer will have his abilities reversed. Discount on Pirates while he is in the crew, and haste to them when he is on the board.
2) Hull Lurker and Swashbuckling Avenger will be back - and function properly.
3) Tempest Queen will have its bonus capped at +3.
4) Dockside Coercer will be unique moving forward.
Some other intangibles will include a MUCH more stable connection for Android players (should be far fewer crashes), and our in-app purchases will get dinged a lower percentage by Google (thanks Google!).
We have been adding a lot of players to the game lately, and we are about to make another major push to add players. So, we need everyone to update as soon as it is available. To this end, this update will come with a welcome basket! Each player will earn 3 PAC and 3 Premium Foil Packs after your first win using the updated client.
