Rules
- Last Hero Standing (4 heroes with one ban), single elimination format.
A brief explanation about Last Hero Standing format: The core of Last Hero Standing is similar to that of Conquest, with the way the actual matches are decided being reversed. Instead of the victor being decided by whoever wins with each hero brought to the tournament, a player can now win the match once all three of his or her opponent's decks have lost. Therefore, after the players play the first game, the winner is forced to continue using the same deck and the loser is forced to switch to a different one. The losing deck is no longer eligible to be played in the match.
Example: SET Atlas (Victor-Gwenneth-Baduruu-Banebow) vs SET Primal One (Boris -Amber-Tala-Ter Adun). Atlas bans Ter Adun, Primal bans Banebow. Match one: Victor > Tala. Now Atlas has to play Victor until he loses. Primal has a choice between Boris and Amber for the second match.
- Each player will choose 4 different heroes and submit a deck list for each before the deadline. Hero and deck lock for the whole tournament. All deck lists will be published after the signups close, together with the first round brackets.
- Matches will be best of 5. A mock match should be created before the main match starts, where each player picks whichever hero he wants banned out of the opponent's lineup. Random start for the 1st, 3rd and 5th game, alternate for the 2nd and 4th game.
- Draws and sync errors are replayed under the exact same conditions. Disconnections count as a win for the opponent unless he agrees to restart. Loading a wrong hero/deck in a game is an automatic game loss, with the player who won choosing which hero gets eliminated out of the opponent's remaining ones, unless the opponent agrees to restart.
- Each round will last one week. Please contact your opponent within the first 2 days in order to schedule on time and avoid missing the deadline. An extension of 24 hours might be provided under extreme circumstances. If a match is not played during a round, the tournament organisers will take a decision based on who made the greater effort to play. This decision will be final.
- You are allowed to play matches in advance if your opponent is already decided.
- Report the result in the telegram tournament room (e.g. SET Primal One 3-0 SET Atlas) Do not forget to tag one of the tournament organisers. You can join the tournament room by clicking here.
- In the event of an update happening mid-tournament, participants will have to play with their submitted decks and they will have to play on the updated version of the game.
- The tournament organisers have the last word and all decisions are final.
