Retreat! was not able to return Infernal Gargoyle after it was resurrected, but was able to the next turn.

Infernal Gargoyle was not able to be returned to opponent's hand because the opponent had 7 cards in hand. In Shadow Era, a player may never have more than 7 cards in their hand under any circumstance, so if they have 7 they may not draw beyond 7 or have cards placed in their by other means (e.g. Retreat!) either.
