Agent Rex control War Banner

When playing against AI Boris, my Agent Rex took control of his War Banner but it was still benefiting his allies instead of mine.

Maybe it is because of the "different owner" statut.
Do you remember which allies were involved in your game?

Anyway, I made a test on my side and after taking control of War Banner with Agent Rex ability:

1. Opposing allies do not benefit from the bonus (which is good);
2. But my allies also do not benefit from the bonus (which is not good);
3. And the same situation is repeating itself with different Heroes:

Now, with Oliver Fagin's ability, I placed in my hand an opposing ally (Jasmine Rosecult) after taking control of War Banner. And after summonning this different owner ally, it does not benefit from the War Banner bonus.

I did notice that my allies were definitely not benefitting from it. I thought Boris' allies benefitted on the turn I stole it but I may have been mistaken.
