The soul seeker card says you need 5 resources to cast it but the ai player casted it with only 3 resources

Would help if we could see more of the board to see exactly what else could cause this.

Another thought, as this was against the AI, was it against 2 or 3-star campaign encounter? Because those sometimes will start with cards already in play to ramp up the difficulty (so almost like it cost 0, not even 3).

Would definitely need to see a wider board to know for sure though.

There was two allies on board in a 2 star campaign.
On the following draw he launch the card with only three resources.
I replayed and the AI didn't do it so not sure what happened.
