Test Server 3.52 Balance Discussion

If you've played on the test server and have some thoughts to share on the balance based on your experiences (particularly on the 13 brand new cards), this is the place to do so!

My personal feelings are that most of the new cards are fine. Yes some are strong and might change the meta some, but isn't that what we want new cards for? I think Feasterling

and Bandit should stay in the previous form with the addition of Knight. Timelord maybe could be unique, but that is mainly going off what others have said as I haven't played him much.

Timelord is to strong. Make either meek or unique, remove aldmor faction.
Revert feasterling and bandit back, new cards will be even with old versions.
By the sword should cost one to play. Rarely able to be used.
Revert wave collapse or take out the attack to 1.

I agree with Dub about Feaster and Bandit. Atm Knight is the best 2cc and he's only available to humans. It's not nice that the only valid shadow 2cc drops both have a sustain cost. All decks that run feaster must also add something to remove allies from board like Sacrificial lamb, which is very limiting. Among the decks that are least effected by this change are UD BB and Badu (absolute T1) and Zal+Prax (Because of both extractions). The weaker heroes suffer this change a lot. Disable the guy, make him stay on the board for the whole game and (probably) win.

If you want to keep them like they are then also Knight needs a nerf (ATM he's too good).

Barbarian needs to be restricted to classes other than hunter (too much readied damage for UDBB and Badu, as they already have Shroud).

I think that also Garina deserves some nerf: It will only get better with the introduction of more allies. With the changes to Feaster and bandit and with the current version of Garina it's a must to play Humans or (possibly) the best available shadow builds. Heroes like Lance

and Ythan

that are T1 with or without the card are the ones who benefit from it more than others. T4 Brax is just ridiculous and usually wins you the game alone (especially if you have FTA).

I played Streets Tala

in the pop and also Dead Man's Breach

is very broken in tala with the new 2cc allies. I think that Sosilo, Garina and Pass all need to be changed. The game is gonna go around those and counters if no action will be taken. The locations seem to be very difficult to balance right...

The best way for shadow to counter these threats are Elementals. Mill prax will be able to deal with all, new wave collapse is great value in both zal and prax.

Location isnt problem garina turn4 brax is nothing new,streets played a similar tala a year ago.New 2cc ally are buff for that deck, but you still have natural counter for it.About Timelord, he have two many good things.Great stats, haste,2nd ability and also he is a neutral ally.I disagree with barbarian nerf.Comannder is imo perfect.

is ok, but maybe if she is a wulven ally.
