a 64 person tournament (or more)
STANDARD tournament rules except for what follows.
this will be a huge SLUGFEST. it will be a BEST OF 7. thats right, a best of seven.
you will bring 4 heroes. they must be 2 human and 2 shadow. this is locked (HEROES and DECKS). meaning it must be the same 4 heroes and the same deck build for each THROUGHOUT the whole tournament. no sideboard. (i will not be requiring deck submissions. so the deck lock will be on the honor system, but i will be checking replays if need be and may sanction a player and require they submit to me a deck list to compare all replays with)
you must play all 4 heroes, in whatever order in the first 4 games. if there is a 5th, you can play any hero you chose. if there is a 6th game, you cannot use the one you played in game 5. if there is a 7th game, you cannot use the hero you used in games 5 and 6. NO EXCEPTIONS.
the prizes - prizes have been approved
1st: 4 prize packs + 4 premium packs + 4 LL packs + 20 "Pick a Card" + WC spot in final 32 +1500sc
2nd: 2 prize packs + 2 premium packs + 2 LL packs + 10 "Pick a Card"+ WC spot in final 32 +1000sc
3rd: 1 prize pack + 1 premium pack + 1 LL pack + 5 "Pick a Card"+ WC spot in final 32 + 500sc

clarifications
WHO GOES FIRST: random 1st game, 2nd game the other player goes first. then random for the 3rd game and the other player for the 4th, etc. this is probably the best method since it cuts down on starting and stopping of games.
NO CARDS, HEROES or PLAY STYLES are banned.
If no match is played in a round, i will make a decision based on all the info i have on who made the most effort to play. this decision will be final. no argument or complaining. if you truly believe i made the wrong decision, you may PM all evidence you have and i will direct you to either SamuelJ or Gondorian because as i just said, my decision is final. you should have given me that information before.
all rounds but round 1 will be 1 week long. round 1 might be a little longer to allow possible reserve replacements to get a match in.
i reserve the right to make changes and clarifications as needed. these will be announced.
CONCERNING QUALIFYING FOR THE WC
- if a player already has a spot in the final WC 32, then the spot moves down to the fourth place, etc. which could possibly mean it might drop down to the fifth place person, in which case there will be a playoff between the players in fifth place and so on.
